Wellcome Collection arguably London’s finest small art gallery explores the connections between medicine, life and art in the past, present and future. It’s the free visitor destination for the incurably curious.

Wellcome Collection is displaying an unusual mixture of medical artifacts and original artworks exploring ‘ideas about the connections between medicine, life and art’. It now attracts over 500,000 visitors per year.

The museum is managed by Wellcome Trust, founded by Sir Henry Solomon Wellcome (1853–1936).He was an extensive and enthusiastic traveller. Henry Wellcome amassed a huge collection of books, paintings and objects, on the theme of historical development of medicine worldwide.

Wellcome Collection: Admission ticket price, opening hours

Admission Tickets: Free admission i.e. no entrance fee.
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 10am-6pm but Thursday closes late at 10pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. Open all Bank Holidays including Mondays
