Old Bailey Central Criminal Court is the world’s most famous and iconic criminal court. It was opened in its current form in 1907. Some of Britain’s most famous criminals have been tried at Old Bailey Criminal Court, including Ronnie and Reggie Kray, Peter Sutcliffe (the Yorkshire Ripper) and Peter Scott, playwright Oscar Wilde, the Liberal politician Jeremy Thorpe and Lord Haw Haw.
