Buddhapadipa-Buddhist Temple– Wat Buddhapadipa was the first formal Buddhist temple in the UK according to Thai Tradition. It was established by the London Buddhist Temple Foundation in 1976. Originally it was located on Christ Church Road, Richmond and had been enjoying royal patronage since 1965.
